Mountain Drive

The other weekend, we took our annual drive through the mountains to check out some fall colors. Our favorite route to go is over Guanella Pass. It's a shorter route and not too busy, so we can stop along the way & do some "exploring," which Addie thinks is much better than just walking around :)

Not so into the scenery...

Mason refused to be left out-

Near the top, there is a cute ranch, with a pasture across the road & horses grazing. They were near the fence, so we stopped to see them.  They were very friendly & let us pet them. Mason love them , but then got a little scared when we got really close. He was holding onto Daddy with a super grip!

We got back in the car & headed down the back side of the pass. Mason fell asleep, so we stopped near some water for Daddy & Addie to do some more exploring.

The drive ends at Georgetown, which is the prefect place to walk the streets after being the car a lot & get some ice cream before heading back down through Denver. Such a nice way to spend a fall day!
