Fun at the Big Top!

We decided to take an adventure down to the Circus presented by the Shriners with our friends Kristen and Heather, and Heather's little girl, Miriam. It was a pretty good time, especially before the circus started when we were able to go down on the floor and get close to the animals.

They shot a dude out of that huge cannon on the left of this picture, best part of the whole show!

Here's Addie and Miriam

Addie wasn't thrilled about this huge turtle, the moment was short-lived which apparently aided me in cutting the turtle's head off in this picture!

This picture is bootleg, apparently you have to pay to get pictures with the Pink Poodles, but we walk a dangerous line.

they seriously cram like 15 kids on each elephant, it was impressive.

Watching the show, it was a little hard to keep Addie focused, but the oversized funnel-cake kept her in her seat for awhile.

Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday we got dressed up and headed up to church in Boulder. After church we put the kids down for a nap and hid eggs outside with our great neighbors. Once the kids woke up we had another Easter egg hunt, and as you can see we hid the eggs in really tough spots!

Could they be any cuter?!

Someone showed Addie that she could eat the candy while searching for eggs...

Getting greedy!

Easter Saturday (windiest day ever)

Mason got to celebrate his first Easter this year, and it was a great time! We got up on Saturday with a full day ahead of us, starting with Kassie and Addie coloring eggs.

Then after that we went to Calvary Bible's Easter Egg Hunt in Erie. It looked great outside, sunshine and no clouds, but we soon found out that there were some ridiculous winds. But Addie still found all of the eggs and got some candy to go along with a really cool book explaining Easter. And they had corndogs!

look at that footwork!

just a little windy

After the hunt we came home and checked out Addie's Easter basket, with some cool gifts from Grandma Ruprecht, like this sweet zebra glasses holder that Addie loves!

Think this boy wants some food?

so much fun & Easter Sunday is tomorrow still!
